v1.0.10 Patch Notes
v1.0.10 Patch Notes
Happy weekend everyone! Because it's always a good idea to release a patch on a friday afternoon according IT Professionals (TM) around the world, here are a few improvements to kiki:
- Custom Dynamic Variables now get their own bug document. This means that instead of having to insert custom dynamic variables into page.php - which makes patching a big pain in the butt - I've created a new file to do that job: /layout/dynamic.bug
For example: let's say you want to display $$current_weather$$ on a bunch of pages, instead of just one.
You must first define the Current_Weather variable in layout/dynamic.bug like this:
((header))
Current_Weather:<span><b>Sunny and +16 Celsius</b>, with a <b>30% Chance of Showers<b></span>
Now, whenever you insert the bug tag $$Current_Weather$$ into the content section of any document, it'll show that nicely html-formatted weather text :)
Bug fixes/changes:
- library/interpreter.php: now any text after the colon used by a variable in the ((header)) section is used as its only key.
- layout/dynamic.bug: any variables you add into the header of this file can be used as dynamic content in any file!
- settings.php: added $dynamic_variable_file
